Mountain Whitewater Descents is an American whitewater rafting operator who offers an exceptional wilderness rafting experience on the Cache La Poudre River in Colorado.

As the Director of Fun, Ben Costello is responsible for the smooth running of the business. Throughout the day, he wears different hats.

A lot of the issues stemmed from the fact that it was more suited to accommodation providers.

“It was difficult for customers to book online, because it wasn’t intuitive and there were a lot of unnecessary steps involved. Also, the appearance didn’t come across as professional as we had liked.”

Ease of use was an issue for staff as well.

“It was not user friendly from the backend for our office staff – it was hard for them to make changes and processing our bookings took up a lot of staff time. We also felt that customer support was poor, so that was frustrating as well.”

Ben felt that the way the system was being improved was not ideal.

While Ben knew that he could fill his seats, he felt that there was a better system out there that would help him streamline his booking process.

Ben began his search for a booking system that would suit his whitewater rafting business perfectly. At first, he considered whitewater rafting software.

“Some booking products are built specifically for the whitewater rafting industry, but generally I found those products to be overly expensive.”

Ben reached out to one of his friends who also operates a whitewater rafting company. That’s when he heard about Rezdy.
