Rezdy has confirmed that Flybook has completed integration with Rezdy Marketplace. In a single connection between Rezdy and Flybook, Flybook users can seamlessly distribute to any of the nearly 20,000 online and offline agents.

Orlando, 24 October 2019, – Rezdy Pty Ltd, the world’s leading independent booking and distribution platform for tour and activity providers, today confirmed that Flybook had successfully completed integration into its B2B distribution marketplace.

The integration allows Flybook users to seamlessly distribute their tours and availability to any of the nearly 20,000 online and offline agents and resellers available through Rezdy Marketplace. This move allows Flybook to maintain just a single connection to Rezdy Marketplace and prioritize the vast majority of the company’s development efforts on delivering innovations to improve operations for the supplier.

“Distribution is a critical part of a thriving supplier’s business – whether to the OTA that helps them reach new customers or to long-standing local in-destination partners,” said Chris Atkin, Rezdy CEO.

“We’ve built Rezdy’s B2B Marketplace over the past 6 years and are delighted to extend the benefits to Flybook suppliers. The sheer volume of change going on in this segment is remarkable. We’ve seen 1.6x annual growth in the Gross Booking Value processed through Rezdy Marketplace resellers to a high of over $500 million in the last 12 months alone. We are working hard to extend the reach and add features for the benefit of all our Marketplace users, which leaves Flybook the opportunity to focus on doing what they do best – driving operational value for their suppliers.”

“The OTA landscape for experiences is still maturing, with new players and technology updates almost daily,” said Craig Langer, CEO and Co-founder, Flybook.

“At the same time, the needs of the supplier outside of OTA distribution, are intensifying greatly. They need new technology to manage their shuttles, increase direct bookings or any number of pain points they waste time and money on every single day. That’s where we want to stay focused. Just as the hotel industry established channel managers for OTA integrations, the Rezdy Marketplace integration allows us to maintain that focus while still giving our suppliers the distribution channels they need to grow. Rezdy is leading the industry in working closely with OTAs and innovating in that space, so we can stay focused on ours.”

The announcement comes ahead of Arival Orlando, the in-destination event, next week and highlights both the brand’s commitment to innovations within the experiences sector.
